Hello, in Arena Support Forum runs a new poll. http://www.playwitharena.com/forum Theme is: User GUI wishes ... Persons which have interest to give a vote can used the guest passwort for FCP Forum. I hope that a lot of persons give here vote ... Maybe the vote is also possible in CCC Forum, I don't know. Better for me is the collect the votings in FCP Forum or I have to many work. You have a total ammount of 50 points, please place and classify them within the various categories, the statistic evaluations and counts will be done later on. Which options do you suggest as interesting for a "Multi engine computerchess GUI" nowadays ? 06 - Analysis modes 10 - Compatibility of the GUI referring to different engine protocols, such as (UCI, WB1, WB2) 01 - Database functions 04 - Tournament functions 02 - ELO evaluating options 05 - Options for testrows, i.e. automatic gererating of results ect. 01 - Ability to correspond with Internet chess servers 03 - Compatibility to electronical Autosensory chess boards, such as DGT ect. 00 - Basical chess teaching functions 05 - Individual workaround to customize the GUI at own preferences 03 - Book options in general, i.e. editable, tree displaying mode, ect. 10 - Further developments and technical increases, as precise as possible, referring to an Eng-Eng playing mode (The increase of the allready exixting options and eventually brandnew ideas.) 00 - Autoplayer options = 50 points in total ! Please place and classify exactly this ammount within the named, various categories. The statistic evaluations and the exact count will be done later on. I'll ask Mr. Gourevitch himself to kindly generate a specific formula to adjust and evaluate the shown results properly.
