Fritz5.00 evaluated the position before 18.Qd3 as clearly better for white 0.84 pawns advantage at depth 12 and I do not think fritz5.03 has different evaluation. It is only because of the powerbook. I do not understand why did fritz5's programmers give fritz5 lines they did not check and fritz5 did not check before. If I were instead of them I would prefer to trust fritz5's positional understanding instead of trusting lines I did not check. At least they should do something similiar to Robert Hyatt and if there is something much better than theory then do not trust theory. They say their program is worth nothing if they do not do it and I do not understand why because they have very good program. Uri
