Using max selectivity and hash (tt=30 or 512M?), CM55 displays a mate in 13 at the start of ply 14 in 9:20. It does not see the mate in 11 until the start of ply 16 at a total search time of 24:55. The CM8k using the same parameters, did not display mate or any kind until ply 15 for a total thinking time of 35:51. Unfortunately it is not known how moves to mate that it found, as could not get it to display that info. Puter is a P4 2.2 with 512 meg of PC133 ram.
