I have a few quick questions about Fritz6: 1. Is there a setting to indicate how soon Fritz announces an opening? For example, after 1.e4,e5 2. Nf3,d6 - Fritz doesn't yet say "Philodor Defense". I like how CM8000 designates the game right away, and then if they transpose to another opening, it changes... or it will continue to add the "variation" designations to the original opening. 2. I would like to merge a couple of databases together. Is there a menu option to delete duplicate games? 3. I would like to "reset" my rating in Friend Mode. I know I saw a procedure on how to do that. I thought it was something like deleting the "rating32.dat" file. I tried that, and the next time I started Fritz, it recreated the file, and "remembered" the last setting of 9 games played. I just tried also deleting my games from the AutoSave database, but that didn't reset it either. 4. In the Help file, it mentions all of the medals that are awarded, but I don't see where the colors that are associated with the medals are explained. Thank you for your help!
