>Houston - we have a problem ! No problem at all! You don't have to fret about which pins are crossed - there is a standard for null modem cable for PC's. All you have to do is be sure the ends of said cable have the right connectors for your computers, and is in fact a null modem (not a regular serial), cable. It couldn't be any simpler - I've used it for many computers for data transferring. Not as fast as parallel transfers, but it works fine. Dave
