I think there are a lot of factors in both games, that make any comparison kind of difficult. Kasparov has something to prove. He was bested by computers once, I doubt he'll let it happen twice. Kramnik has nothing to prove. He just wants the extra $600,000. Kasparov is very emotional. Hopefully he won't blow it on going for wins in drawn positions, or going for draws in won positions. Kramnik is cold as ice. He will play 100%, 100% of the time. He won't be "intimidated" by a computer. Kasparov can't play Junior, but he can play other comptuers, and even older versions of Junior. I believe that most of his preperation will come from studying openings that can get him to a place where he can take advantage of the computers lack of positional knowledge. Kramnik will simply take his copy home, and find weaknesses (very easily I would guess) and try to get to those positions in the real game. Both will be great games, and I am *very* excited about both.
