I think trying to get inside Kasparov's head is impossible. He _could_ be thinking along any of the following scenarios: 1. Smash DJ to show the world that even though he lost to DB, DB was so far ahead of the micros that it doesn't really count... 2. Barely beat DJ to show that DJ is almost as good as he is, then claim that they might be better than DB 97, but that he was "off" for that event and was tricked by an unknown opponent. 3. Anywhere in between those two extremes... I wouldn't bet on anything for this match.
