Hi Stefan,

so far I tested Aristarch against Little Goliath and LambChop (3 to 10 minutes
per game). Against Little Goliath the result was very good: Aristarch is very
strong in tactics and knows how to attack the opponent's king. Also the endgame
skills are good and sometimes it even sacrifices a pawn to push a passed pawn
supported by a rook behind it.
Also against LambChop the score was positive, but LambChop was a tough opponent
and here some weaknesses of Aristarch appeared: sometimes it simply neglected a
sound developpement of its pieces to good squares. Instead it prematurely tried
to attack (for example many useless moves with its queen while LambChop took
control of the centre) and then it often lost quickly. This often happened if
Aristarch had black or was out of book early. Also it sometimes miss to castle
and to connect the rooks early enough.
Sorry I haven't saved the games... I played just for fun.
Anyway Aristarch has an interesting, active playing style. Congrats to your
strong engine!
Regards
Jan
