I believe that this assumption is wrong espacially when the GM does not know the changes that were done in the program. Suppose GM's get the following challange to play a match of 10 games against Junior8(they can only get Junior7) when they can earn 10,000$ if they do not lose even a single game but earn nothing if they lose even one game. If they believe that they can draw at will then I expect most of the GM's to accept the challange because they can be almost sure in earning 10,000$ and only the top GM's can earn more than it. I am interested to know how many accept that challange. Uri
