Those are very close to what was once gained by Belle (?). I will try to look up
the games that were published and will post them once again so that you can see
the different. They noted that at the higher plys the gain got smaller and
smaller so that in theory at least, depending on the initial strength of the
program it would eventually reach a point where it could not gain much if any
more points in playing strength. It does not seem really possible except when we
consider that it may gain only 1 or 2 point with each successive ply. To my
knowlegde no one has had the time or patience to go much further, after all 12
or 13 or 14 or more plys might take days to complete if not even longer.
