Yes, a sad loss. A remarkable man.

"GOTO considered harmful" and "Co-operating Sequential Processes" had a major
effect on my thinking in the '70s.

It was good to meet him at the 50th Anniversary of the inauguration of the
world's first computer service (on EDSAC I) in Cambridge.

Hopefully, someone will edit his papers in an English edition.

We become the memories we leave behind.  R.I.P.
