You are mathematically right, but I did not want to put a questioning mark to the rating the pal gives to himself. It is only natural to believe you are somewhat stronger that you are. Besides, it this low levels of around 1800 players, it is well posible to be really 1800 against similar human competition and get lot less against machines that does not commit the kind of mistakes 1800 players does. This is another way to say ratings means different things according if human or computer are measured. If you ask me, I would say that winning one game to 19 against that kind of machine means you are at most a 1550 to 1600 player. My best fernando
