I've yet to see a playable 3D board (for me, anyway) - my 2D into 3D perception just doesn't seem to be well enough fooled! But, those screenshots look good. I'll wait a month before buying the game but would be interested to know if anyone like me, who has yet to be satisfied with 3D boards and pieces, thinks CM9000 is taking a huge step ahead in this regard when they lay their hands on the thing! Those 2D boards look nice, too - plain and simple. By the way, John, is the face of ChessMaster, the bearded one, of someone real or has it been created especially for the series? Bests Matthew
