Chessmaster 6000 was released over one year before Windows 2000 and over three years before Windows XP. Why would you assume that it would work on operating systems that didn't exist before it was released? Chessmaster 8000 was released before Windows XP was released, and Mattel Interactive did not support Windows 2000/NT with any of their games.... Chessmaster 9000 will support Windows XP. If you don't like the interface, that's fine. But your first sentence is not a valid complaint. jm
