Mr. Kudent was complaining that CM6000 didn't support an operating system (Windows 2000) that didn't exist when CM6000 was released. This kind of complaint is not valid. And, yes, you are 99% correct when you say that "everything that works on NT also works on 2000, XP." However, it does NOT go backwards -- not everything that works on Windows 2000/XP will also work on NT. We know this because our copy of 3D Studio Max works fine on Windows 2000/XP, but hangs at least three times a day on NT. I'm sure I could name many other products that behave similarly (Chessmaster 9000, for instance....) This is why XP has its "Compatibility Mode", so that older programs can have a chance of working with the new operating system. But, to say that the only difference between Windows NT, 2000, and XP is "a bit newer kernel, that's all" is completely false. jm
