AFAIK you don't have to worry at all, and in general you can leave all of those
settings at their defaults. So far, I didn't see stronger alternative F7
settings having been mentioned, and generally there is no doubt that the
defaults will be most probably the strongest engine settings in Fritz.

I think though, that few people will really search much for better settings...
Fritz has not much tradition regarding custom settings (since Fritz 3, where you
could design your own piece/square table values, which some people did with good
success).

Some settings can be useful in special situations, i.e. zero selectivity for
zugzwang studies, when the nullmove algorithms can be counterproductive. The F1
help explains details about all engine parameter (...I think, having only the
german verison).
