ELO rating systems are used for more than just Chess, Computer Chess. Take a look at: http://www.kiva.net/~jsagarin/sports/cfsend.htm You will notice the ELO Chess rating numbers on the far right for each team. This is also the rating number for each team, not sure why it is listed twice, but it does show that the ELO Chess rating system is a versitle system. Not perfect, but it is still one of the best.
