Go up one level in this thread

None of the verses you gave said anything about God not being concerned with
politics, war, or anything else of this world. You are manipulating single
verses without reading them in the context of the verses around them, the book
they are in, or the context of the entire Bible.

For example, James 4:4 is talking about how we shouldn't long after things of
this world for the wrong reasons. The key there is "for the wrong reasons",
which is clearly seen in James 4:3 (in context) which mentions "wrong motives".

I fail to see anything in any of the verses you mentioned to support your view
that God isn't concerned with politics, war, or anything else of this world. If
you are lumping politics and war into "things of this world" and saying that God
isn't concerned with them because they are "things of this world", then (if we
want to be literal, as you appear to be doing) God wouldn't be concerned with
humans either, or Satan, who you pointed out is the ruler of this world, which
isn't exactly true either, since God has power over Satan, which doesn't exactly
make Satan the ruler IMO.

In any case, it's child's play to make the Bible sound contradictory when you
isolate verses and remove the context that they lie in.

>So witchever mundane faction someone might support, under _whose_ controle
>someone really is?

Satan is under God's control also. So he doesn't really control anything.

>The primitive christians denied politic jobs, as confirmed in "On the Road to
>Civilization, A World History" (Philadelfia, USA, 1937) by A. Heckel and J.
>Sigman, page 237 and 238

Naturally so. They couldn't perform their duties as founders of the Christian
churches if they were bothered with politics.

>The first christians maintained themselves seperated from the State, as
>confirmed in "The History of the Christian Religion and Church, During the Three
>First Centuries" (New York, 1848), by Augusto Neander.

Not sure what this is implying.

>Yes, God led Israel in battle several times in order to conquer the land that He
>had promised to them. Also he led Israel in military campaings in order to
>eliminate people with depraved dids or that threatned Israel.

Why would you say that God isn't concerned with these things then?
