I was pretty amazed after putting in a lot of my time into a few positions and then emailing them about it, that all i got shipped back was an analysis of fritz7, instead of their own analysis *before* they put the position(s) in the testsets. I will not say they have been lazy, some experiments which are conducted for academic papers is definitely less than what they have put time into the testset. For a testset you have to invest time in 3 things a) making a method b) collecting positions c) analysing the positions They obviously put time in a and b and kick mainly on also d): putting the positions onto programs, though there are a zillion volunteers for that usually. Obviously for the first few positions i invested more time in c than they did. Best regards, Vincent
