Hello Maurizio,

the message includes a compare of the Deep Fritz 7 results (in seconds) in the
100 positions of WM-Test
- on Dual Pentium III 1000 MHz (Volker Richey)
- on (Single) AMD Thunderbird 1400 MHz (my machine).

I was testing "manually" - Volker used the Fritz function "(automatic) solving
of test suites" with ExtraPly=1.

But with ExtraPly=1 some of Volkers results ain't valid because some solutions
will be later (one or more plies later) rejected again - e.g. the solutions of
the test positions
a) 17, 42, 53, 96 were found by my AMD machine but rejected later and found
again within 20 minutes - the Dual already stops analysing after first finding
of solution
b) 20, 68, 74, 76 were found by my AMD but rejected again within 20 minutes -
the Dual already stops analysing again after first finding of solution.

Another problem was position 28 that was solved by Dual machine in 2 seconds -
my AMD machine found the solution after 36 minutes !?

Volker wanted to repeat the WM-Test on his Dual machine with ExtraPly=5 (further
4 plies after finding the solution).

Regards,
Manfred
