Sorry, I should of mentioned... it's XP Professional. The reason I noticed it was that my dual PC started getting sluggish when running Fritz7 with reasonably sized hash tables... GUI locking up, etc. It didn't do that when I first started using Fritz7, for several months. I just wanted to check on here in case someone had seen the same problem. I think I'm going to have to start the joys of re-installing, etc... hopefully it's just a corrupted app and not WinXP itself getting mucked up. Gordon
