You seem to forget that in World Championship Chess, they always play a series of games up to about 10 or so and that is because they acknowledge that sometimes people have bad days. Maybe you do not remember the Fisher/Spasky matches of years ago. If Gary had quit after the second game, maybe he could have claimed a draw, after all he won one and lost one at that point. So it seems that you are wrong in your preliminary judgement and remember Deep Blue no longer exists. It is dead. Dissassembled. Gone (forever?). IBM will no longer accept challanges from any one or thing. Maybe Gary was right and they cheated during the last game. In that case they did not win anything. Bill
