Hugo Süchting (1874-1916). He had a positive score against better known players
like Salwe, John, Burn and Bernstein (but only from 3...5 games each).

He drew a short 4 games match against Leonhardt, Hamburg 1912 (all games were
drawn).

The Süchting variation of the slav, acccording to Oxford Companion:

1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.Nc3 *Qb6* (from a game which S. lost to Schlechter
in Karlsbad 1911)
