I assume you mean "DirectX" instead of "ActiveX". They are two very different things. Either way, I am surprised that Fritz requires DirectX at all, unless they use DirectPlay for the online play component. You should definitely consider going to www.microsoft.com/directx and getting DirectX 8.1 in any case. jm
