This is curious. When I tried it, I got a reduction in bf from 6 to 4.5 or something similar. I didn't measure percentages,but I would expect it to be much more than 20% then of course. I also tried a Sjeng with PVS against Sjeng without PVS once and the PVS version won by a large margin. I wouldn't expect that from only 20% speedup. Stuff to investigate... -- GCP
