Rory Nolan has a common syndrome of finding a pathology to express a personality. This extends even to the DSMIV board. Worst is when the inherent silliness of DSMIV trying to please everybody is worsened by those applying disorders for amateurish diversion. The definition of DSMIV appears to pander for a watered down autism; it's new and even fashionable. Fischer is entitled to his own particular personality without being dragged into new categories. The usefulness of diagnostic categories, such as there is any, is in stereotyping a treatment. Nobody is going to treat Fischer; the world would be outraged if he was incarcerated by the Americans in a mental hospital for breaking an embargo.
