I have a feeling something will get done eventually though, whether it's Tim who does the work or someone else, I don't know. I've considered creating my own enhanced version of Winboard which would support my own new features. I'd consider writing it if people would get together enough and get the protocol version 3 drafted. I'm afraid that while I may have some good ideas about some things that need to be added, others are far more wise and knowledgable about what needs to be added and what doesn't, and I don't think it would be wise for me to create a new protocol version entirely on my own. In six months everyone would just be complaining again about how Winboard doesn't do this or that...and nothing would be accomplished :) I think a new Winboard protocol version, along with an upgrade in the Winboard GUI (making it look a little prettier and more organized) would rock for sure :) Russell
