Not depth< 4 but only depth==1,3,4...

ie for depth=1,  depth/2=0, depth-2=0 so they are the same

   for depth=2,  depth/2=1, depth-2=0 so my method does a deeper search.

   for depth=3,  depth/2=1, depth-2=1 so they are the same.

   for depth=4,  depth/2=2, depth-2=2 so they are the same.

   for depth=5 and above, mine is always deeper.

However, I think the point is that at positions closer to the root, move
ordering is more critical.  A deeper search will produce a better move.
