The first position is cute.  Crafty thinks black is winning easily.
Black has a protected passer while white has two passers that the king
can stop.  It doesn't realize that when the king stops one, the other
runs.  It takes 3 seconds on mhy PIII/750 to fail low and see white is
winning +5 or more...
