I don't think the book had anything to do with it. As far as I know CB does not
tune books to play better against another Fritz.

From what I have seen, Deep Fritz is faster at tactics then Fritz 7 and plays a
bit stronger. More testing will tell, I will runs some tests on Deep Fritz 7 and
see if I have simular results.
