Christophe,

That is an excellent policy. I certainly hope you will never have to enforce it!

I think what Georg is asking is what if his *Palm Pilot* dies tomorrow? Or next
week, or next year, or he upgrades to a new model or different PDA manufacturer.

I have wondered about this situation myself. I have a few programs that are tied
to my name, the hardware, the system, etc. How would I as the
programmer/retailer deal with someone calling me up and saying they had to
replace their hardware, so what is their new code (without wanting to
re-purchase the product)?

Have you considered this possibility? Has it already happened?
