That's true of course. But with a very few exceptions, the conditions cannot be compared with SSDF standard. There are probably quite a few basement tournaments with commercial engines as well, which means that SSDF should concentrate on palm/pocket engines, standalone units and obsolete commrcial engines. Furthermore, it wouldn't answer the question about the gap between amateur and commercial engines. A question that I find interesting. It would also be valuable information for the consumer. I'd rather see another commercial engine than unavailable to everyone. Their Pocket Grandmaster would be a good idea to test, but maybe the inclusion of Gromit 3.11.9 is payment in that regard.
