It's been tested by users in various configurations with promising results. The
same way as most of the other programs on your list. Therefore the term
"probably strongest" is applied.

Every time there's been a suggestion to test an amateur engine, the excuse have
been lack of time. And now, when the schedule allows another entry, you choose
Gromit. I have nothing against the engine, but its status as privateware is a
problem.

The question still remains. Why test an engine unavailable to anyone but the
fortunate few?
