A book is not part of the engine. > >Matthias. Matthias, I am not familiar with BigLion. Does it run on Linux and if so can I download it? Also, do you know if it is compatible with SCID? I don't have any problem using a book as a look-up. But I am getting the impression that the book is becoming a tablebase for the entire game. Perhaps that is the way chess will be "solved".
