that sounds very weird to me :-)
i can't quite believe it. the engine does not know about your clicking around on
pieces in the GUI and so your solution should be a product of your imagination.
but strange things can happen with programs i have written :-)

that shouldn't really happen either. the very first version of my endgame db
generator was wrong - i had been toying with the indexing, and forgot to change
it back to how it is in the engine... stupid me! but only about 10 people
visited my site in the time where that was up, and i hoped nobody downloaded it
then... it would be quite a coincidence if you managed :-)
you can check by comparing the file size of db6.cpr against what it says on my
webpage. if you have the correct file size, please send me an example of that
throwing away wins thing. else you'll have to recompute the db...

i am already improving my program as much as i can :-)
the main problem is that of course i'm not really interested in the interface,
only in the engine. so the interface programming is always the last thing i do.

i was really thinking about selling the 8-piece version, but then i heard that
DVDs don't work in about 50% of all cases. so i'd have to do it with CDs. and
there i've also already had problems... i'll think about it when i go back to
switzerland in november. right now, i'd rather enjoy hawaii while i'm still
here...

PS: nemesis is a much more professional program than mine, and it's not much
more expensive than the 60$ you are suggesting.
