I disagree. Ikarus has always shown evaluation from white's point of view, and
it had a reason. That way, it is much easier to understand the score: positive
is good for white, negative is good for black, I do not always have to look
whose move it was when I replay games and try to see how the score developed in
the course of a couple of moves. I find it easier to compare and see a pattern
in +1.24 +1.29 +1.63 +1.78 (it is clear that white is better) than in +1.24
-1.29 +1.63 -1.78 (who is better here anyway? - I have to look at the moves, so
I need extra information besides the scores...). Maybe that is just my personal
inability to think flexibly enough... :-)

I agree fully on that! (Everybody please show eval from white's point of
view...)
