In this case the only possible explanation is that their hardware could do heavy forward pruning and it was done in all levels of the tree. Otherwise their numbers do not make sense because it means that they did 18 could search 20 plies with no pruning(except futility pruning in the last 6 plies) when they could not use hash tables in the last plies. I believe that it is impossible. Uri
