CP looks for a pattern from FICS that starts with 'Challenge:' from there it extracts the match parameters and the player names. The if autoaccept is enabled it sends 'accept ' followed by whatever came after the 'Challenge:'. So if your FICS has somehow translated or changed the format of these commands it won't work.
