Subject: Test Position from Gambit v Yace (see "Wonderful Game" thread below)

Author: George Sobala

Date: 03:35:54 08/29/02

Here is a crux position from the game, after 36 Bxb7

[D]5k2/1B3r1p/4pb2/1QP4r/1B3P1q/4P1pb/PP2R2P/R5K1 b - - 0 35

I am pretty sure, having stared at this at some length with a variety of
engines, that Rg7 is a forced win along the variation played in the actual game.
But how long does it take your engine to show that Rg7 wins?

The full game follows. (Worth playing through for the sacs preceding this
position, too.)
