I think you will find these issues with all engines.
Perhaps fritz has more problems than most others, but then again fritz is also
stronger than most others, so perhaps that does excuse it a little.

To be honest I think fritz was build for playing regular games, and not to do
well on 'bizarre' test positions ;)
