I hope it's better than mine. I have a Dell dual Xeon 2.0 Ghz, which is a great system in general, but not particularly good for chess. I average around 6-700 nps for Fritz7 in real analysis. I haven't actually done a benchmark, so I'm not sure how that comes out, but I have used it a lot to analyze games. Of course, I can run two engines simultaneously with no real degradation, which is very nice. You can compare the analyses in real-time, which gets really interesting. I'm assuming your 2.4G system is based on the latest P4 core, which should be somewhat faster for chess than mine, which is about a year old.
