You could try with uncompressed tb's. That removes some processing during access
and increases the size of the file-chunks to transfer.

But when you really want to test you hard-drive: Set the hash to twice the size
of your RAM :-) Baron has no upper limit to hash size (other than the amount of
virtual memory ... .
