Subject: Enhancing Fritz

Hello,
I'm new to the group and my knowledge of chess programs is fairly limited.  I
recently picked up a copy of Fritz 7 and have been learning a good amount from
it.  I was wondering if anyone had picked up either the opening book database or
the endgame database.  Are they worth the money?  Is Fritz significantly
stronger with them?
