The first time I got experience with this dilemma was
when i tested Super-Forte B to C.

Super-Forte B was better in tactics, but weaker in games.
Super-Forte C had some extra extensions and was overall slower, but
played better.

It took time to find this out. In my first testing i was to shallow
and disapointed. But than i thought: when Dave releases a new version,
there MUST be something with it.
I trusted in Dave's rational-efforts and tested version C again.
Put the B-eproms out of the dedicated-computer and put C again in, and resarched
not test-positions but this time games and positional stuff... and - suddenly I
got it.

This was long time ago, but i remember it because i was proud that i found a
mistake in my own judgement ! My first judgement was wrong. And i found a way to
step one step backwards and see the things much better. Sometimes you have to
proof your own thesis.

ok- we don'T have to be the same opinion. Maybe it is a question of taste and
experience. I have had good experience with my intuition. I trust it.
I follow it. So my experience is good. If you have had the same experience with
following data, thats ok to me too.

The better if you come to the same results !

Concerning junior you seem to have the same idea about it. Its really stronger.

you have seen that it has to play against chesstiger 11.2 in the fourth round ?!
will be interesting to see the NEW junior play against the OLD tiger version...
