This post is very hard to read. Are you trying to say that not pondering is a problem or a dirty trick? It sounds like it. What does "ie the matches take place" mean? And why post questions to Bob on CCC? As for your question about cheating (I'll answer even though I'm not Bob), well, the "Winboard/Xboard standard" doesn't have anything to say about the amount of time or memory a program takes.
