Subject: chessbase 8 and fritz 7

I'm curious how these two programs work together.  I see chessbase 8 as mainly a
database to search through for human study.  Fritz 7 as being mainly a playing
program.  I've heard that fritz can be called upon from chessbase to do
analysis.  Is there anything else these programs can do together?  can you
generate opening books for fritz?  thanks very much
