To answer your questions....

1. Define "noticeably stronger". All I can say is that the development team
believes that it is, at minimum, 30-50 points stronger than the previous
version. Other than that....

2. It uses the de Koning EGTB format, and comes with all 3 and 4-man files, plus
a few of the most important 5-man files.

3. Some tests posted here have shown general improvements from the previous
version, including endgame knowledge.

4. The ratings themselves are mathematically accurate, and were calculated by
more than 15,000 games, about 3,000 of which were against USCF rated humans.
Whether the personalities play like humans of the same strength completely
depends on the personality settings.
