First look at the targets in the Makefile.  There are a couple of solaris
options.

you should be able to type "make solaris-xxx" and it ought to fly.  xxx
will depend on your compiler and whatever so check the Makefile.  Later
you will want to add -DSMP and -DCPUS=X (where X = max cpus you have) to
the CC options in the Makefile...
