One question -- are you doing the Typical or the Complete installation? After reaching 100% (i.e. finishing copying the program files to your hard drive), the following is done in order: 1. The registration program, Ubi1.EXE, is launched. 2. If requested, the CM9000 icon is added to your desktop. 3. A quick Microsoft program called SHFolder.EXE is launched to install some shell folder support that CM9000 requires. This program usually finishes running before you ever notice it. 4. If requested, the ubi.com installation program, called "GameServices.EXE" is launched. 5. If requested, the DirectX installation is launched. 6. If requested, the Adobe Acrobat Reader installation is launched. 7. A dialog comes up asking you if you want to view the ReadMe file. 8. After this dialog goes away, the autorun program is launched. So, you think it is hanging either in or before step 1? jm
