Dear Robert, I had Crafty make a book, and I set the plymax to 30. However, when Crafty started parsing the PGN file, I noticed that it parsed the whole game, instead of just the first 30 plies. Crafty might be able to make a book much faster by just parsing the relevant plies? My suggestion might be bogus, then again it might be worth a thought. James
